Who we are
NUO Life is run by NUO Tech. We decide why and how your information is used, so we are the data controller. You can reach us at hello@nuolife.app.
What we collect, and why
Waitlist. If you join the waitlist we collect your email address. We use it to send you a confirmation and one email on the day the app is live. If you answer the optional question about what you’d like NUO to handle, we read your answer, with your email, to decide what to build first. Our legal basis is your consent, which you give by joining.
Availability links. If someone shares their availability with you, only busy and free times are stored. Event titles, places and people are not.
Website. The site does not use advertising trackers. Our host keeps standard server logs, such as IP address and pages requested, to keep the site running and secure.
We never sell personal data and never use it for advertising.
Who handles it for us
We use Resend to store the waitlist and send our emails, and Vercel to host the site. They process data on our instructions.
How long we keep it
We keep your email address until the launch email has been sent, or until you ask us to remove it, whichever comes first.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent at any time. Email hello@nuolife.app and we will act on it. If you are unhappy with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
